Tulsa, OK – Tulsa Police Department is investigating a fatal accident that occurred April 23 at a road construction site along Highway 75.
According to authorities, first responders were called around 1 p.m. to the 5200 block of South Highway 75 after a 22-year-old man was struck by a backing dump truck.
Officials said the man was part of a construction crew working in the area. He was pronounced dead at the scene due to his injuries.
Police noted that some of the man’s family members were also working on the crew and were nearby at the time of the incident.
The investigation remains ongoing, though initial information indicates the incident appears to have been a tragic accident rather than the result of foul play.
