Tulsa, OK – Members of the Tulsa Fire Department joined representatives from the Tulsa Police Department, the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office, and the District Attorney’s Office for a community safety discussion on Que Buena Tulsa, focusing on issues affecting families across the city.

The program featured Tulsa Police Chief Denis Larsen, who participated in a conversation about the importance of parenting, neighborhood involvement, and collaboration between residents and public safety agencies.

According to the Tulsa Fire Department, officials discussed a variety of topics, including violence prevention, the importance of calling 911 during emergencies, safe driving practices, and summer safety measures. The discussion centered on ways residents can help create safer communities and protect their families.

Organizers said the weekly program provides an opportunity for first responders and public officials to connect directly with Tulsa’s Hispanic community and share information on issues that impact daily life.

The Tulsa Fire Department emphasized that strong communities are built through teamwork, communication, and residents who are willing to look out for one another. Officials said they are grateful for the opportunity to engage with community members and provide safety information that can help save lives.

The weekly outreach effort brings together multiple agencies to address public safety concerns and encourage community involvement throughout Tulsa.
