Tulsa, OK – The Tulsa Fire Department announced an ongoing partnership with the Bixby Fire Department aimed at expanding Mobile Integrated Health services and improving long-term healthcare support for residents in both communities.

According to Tulsa Fire officials, the partnership began in February 2026 and includes collaboration between the TFD CARES Team and Bixby firefighters to help connect residents with healthcare resources, follow-up treatment, education, and community support services.

Department officials said the initiative is designed to help individuals receive appropriate long-term care while reducing unnecessary emergency room visits and repeated 911 calls.

This week, both departments highlighted the early success of the program and its impact on residents needing additional support and medical assistance.

Fire officials said the partnership focuses on proactive care efforts and community-based support for vulnerable residents through coordinated services and outreach programs.

Tulsa Fire Department stated that the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to improving quality of life through innovation, compassion, and interagency cooperation.

Both departments said they plan to continue expanding the partnership and strengthening support systems for residents across the region.
