Tulsa, OK – On October 26, 2025, around 8:00 a.m., officers responded to a hospital near 61st and Yale after reports of a man assaulting two medical workers. Hospital staff reported that Damon Gunn, who was intoxicated and seeking treatment for a cut above his eye, became aggressive. Tulsa, OK – A new class of paramedics has officially completed their training and is now awaiting their National Registry Testing results. This latest group of paramedics has undergone extensive preparation to ensure they’re ready to serve the community with skill and dedication. The program, which ran from May 2024 to February 2025, included over 500 hours of lectures, more than 800 hours of lab and clinical practice, and 120 hours each of anatomy and physiology and EMS internships. Tulsa, OK – As part of an ongoing sewer improvement project on South Lewis Avenue between East 45th Street and East 46th Street, two-way traffic will shift from northbound lanes to southbound lanes, beginning on Thursday, Feb. 27. Witnesses reported a silver SUV driving southbound on Lewis before entering the QuikTrip parking lot, driving through the grass, and crashing into an unoccupied Dodge Charger.
