Tulsa, OK – Mayor Monroe Nichols expressed enthusiasm about the launch of the Neighborhood Conditions Index (NCI) Pilot Program during a signing event with team members present.

The new initiative aims to strengthen Tulsa’s neighborhoods by tackling blight, addressing issues like loose animals, and improving infrastructure to enhance safety.

“As we work to make Tulsa the safest big city in America, we must strengthen the foundation of our communities,” Mayor Nichols stated. He also highlighted the upcoming community workshops and information sessions where Tulsans will have the opportunity to engage with the program and help shape the future of their neighborhoods.

The program will be guided by a cross-departmental task force, ensuring collaboration and coordination across city services to drive meaningful change and revitalization.
