Police said a U of I student had gifts taken from her mail at a university residence hall.
UIPD officers stated cash and a gift card were taken. The student told police her family mailed her the gifts, but when she went to check her mail at Wassaja Hall, the envelopes appeared to have already been opened. The gifts were in a secure mailbox in the lobby of the resident hall.
