Tulsa, OK – The Tulsa Police Department announced the arrest of a homicide suspect wanted in connection with a deadly shooting earlier this month in Tulsa.
According to police, members of the department’s Fugitive Warrants Unit located Jeffrey Aguire, also identified as Jeffery Aguirre, on the night of May 21 at a motel on West Skelly Drive.
Investigators said Aguire was wanted in connection with the shooting death of a 28-year-old man that occurred on May 17 near 3141 E. Skelly Drive.
Authorities reported that Aguire was booked on complaints of first-degree murder and possession of a firearm after former conviction of a felony.
Police noted that the arrest does not constitute a conviction, and the case will proceed through the court system as the investigation continues.
