Tulsa, OK – On February 13, 2025, around 9:45 p.m., Tulsa Police responded to reports of a crash near 91st and Riverside.

Witnesses stated that a Tesla had veered off the road, driven through the grass, and eventually plunged into Joe Creek on the east side of Riverside.

With the assistance of the Tulsa Police Helicopter, officers located the crashed vehicle in the creek.

Due to the extensive damage to the Tesla, Tulsa Fire Department firefighters used extrication equipment to remove the passengers from the car.

Tragically, two teenage girls, who were passengers, died at the scene.

The teenage driver, also a girl, was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Advanced Traffic Investigators are currently working to determine the exact cause of the crash. Further details will be provided as they become available.
