Tulsa, OK – The Tulsa Fire Department, in collaboration with the American Red Cross and BOK Center employee volunteers, launched “Project Life,” a community risk reduction program aimed at fire prevention and safety. On the launch day, teams from Engine 6, Ladder 27, Ladder 20, and Engine 15, along with the American Red Cross and 50 BOK Center employees, visited 462 homes in the Cooper and Cherokee Village neighborhoods. Tulsa, OK – A new class of paramedics has officially completed their training and is now awaiting their National Registry Testing results. This latest group of paramedics has undergone extensive preparation to ensure they’re ready to serve the community with skill and dedication. The program, which ran from May 2024 to February 2025, included over 500 hours of lectures, more than 800 hours of lab and clinical practice, and 120 hours each of anatomy and physiology and EMS internships. The suspect, Rachel Odom, 53, Davis’s ex-wife, had fled the scene but was later apprehended in Oklahoma City.
