Tulsa, OK – On February 13, 2025, Tulsa Police responded to a call at 5800 E. 128th Street S., where they discovered the body of Ryan Davis, 53, who had been shot and killed.

The suspect, identified as Davis’s ex-wife, Rachel Odom, 53, fled the scene before authorities arrived but was later tracked down and arrested in Oklahoma City.

The sequence of events began when an Oklahoma City attorney, representing Odom’s family, received information indicating a possible shooting involving the suspect and the victim.

The attorney, concerned about the situation, contacted a Tulsa attorney, who subsequently went to Odom’s home to verify the details. Around 8:15 p.m., the Tulsa attorney called the authorities, requesting officers meet him at the residence.

Upon entering the home, Tulsa Police discovered Davis’s body, but Odom had already fled with their 9-year-old daughter. Surveillance footage revealed that Davis had arrived at the house at 6:27 p.m. and had brought food for three people.

By 6:55 p.m., Odom was seen leaving the house, and authorities believe Davis was shot between 6:27 and 6:55 p.m. No other individuals were observed entering or leaving the residence during this time frame.

Odom fled to Oklahoma City, where she dropped off her daughter before checking into a local hospital. Oklahoma City Police assisted in locating Odom at one of the hospitals, where she was detained until Tulsa Police Homicide Detectives arrived to take her into custody.

Odom was transported back to Tulsa, where she chose not to answer any questions. Based on the evidence gathered, she was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on charges of First Degree Murder.
