Tulsa, OK – On February 13, 2025, Tulsa police responded to a shooting near 5800 E. 128th Street South, where they discovered Ryan Davis, 53, deceased. The suspect, Rachel Odom, 53, Davis’s ex-wife, had fled the scene but was later apprehended in Oklahoma City.

The case unfolded when an Oklahoma City attorney, representing Odom’s family, received information suggesting a shooting incident involving Odom and Davis. At around 7:30 p.m. on February 13, the attorney contacted a Tulsa attorney, who went to Odom’s residence to investigate.

At 8:15 p.m., the Tulsa attorney informed police, and officers discovered Davis’s body inside the home. Odom had fled with the couple’s 9-year-old daughter. Video surveillance revealed Davis arriving at the house at 6:27 p.m. with food for three people. The footage showed Odom leaving the house at 6:55 p.m. Between these times, Davis was shot twice in the back of the head, with no signs of forced entry or disturbance in the home.

Odom drove to Oklahoma City, dropped off her daughter, and checked into a hospital. Oklahoma City Police assisted in locating Odom, and she was taken into custody at a local hospital by Tulsa homicide detectives.

Odom was transported back to Tulsa, where she declined to answer any questions. Based on the evidence, she was booked into Tulsa County Jail for 1st Degree Murder.
